Job summary

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate construction work to ensure it is carried out according to plans and specifications.
• Assign tasks to workers and subcontractors; monitor productivity and ensure instructions are followed.
• Enforce workplace safety rules, conduct safety briefings, and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Inspect ongoing work to ensure quality standards and project requirements are met.
• Monitor schedules, report progress, and help ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Coordinate delivery, storage, and proper use of construction materials and equipment.
• Keep daily reports, attendance records, work progress updates, and inspection records.
• Communicate site conditions, progress, and requirements to project managers, engineers, and clients.
