Stewart Construction is seeking a proactive Setting Out Engineer to join our team in Ireland. You will work on prestigious commercial, industrial, and educational projects, providing setting out and dimensional control under the Senior Engineer’s direction.

You will review designs, monitor programmes, and maintain robust site records while liaising with the wider team to ensure timely information flow and strict health and safety adherence.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a Main Contractor (commercial project experience desirable).
• Strong Setting Out/Levels experience.
• Full understanding of design drawings and building regulations in Ireland.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of a team.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a team environment.
• Role is fully site based.

Mansioni

• Provide setting out and dimensional control on site and monitor primary control.
• Review designs and programmes with the Senior Engineer.
• Communicate daily with the Senior Engineer and construction team.
• Ensure information for construction is available to the team.
• Review Inspection and Test Plans and assist with method statements and risk assessments.
• Maintain a detailed site diary and document events affecting programme or commercial matters.
• Flag design coordination issues and attend design meetings.
• Populate NCRs and report weekly progress to management.
• Assist in close-out and snag lists, ensuring timely resolution.
• Contribute to lessons learnt and look-ahead programme meetings.
• Maintain weekly material delivery docket using the GRN system.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
