About the Role

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong experience in Apache Kafka and Axon Framework. You will design, build, and maintain resilient, event-driven systems, automate processes, and manage cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage Apache Kafka: configure topics, manage partitions, monitor metrics, troubleshoot issues.

• Design and maintain event-driven systems using Axon Framework with CQRS/ES patterns.

• Work with other messaging platforms such as NATS or MQ as needed.

• Build automation scripts and integrations using Python, Go, Java, or Bash.

• Manage Linux/Unix systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Implement observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog) and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

• Apply security best practices and compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR).

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in software development, SRE, or systems administration.

• Proven experience in Apache Kafka and Axon Framework.

• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration, cloud platforms, and automation.

• Familiarity with networking, observability, and security practices.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be based in Ireland or have a valid work permit for Dublin.
