Ensure robust execution of planned and opportunistic cost-reduction initiatives to meet and exceed the annual budget. Partner with suppliers to provide input into category strategies and implement value-driving agreements (contracts) that positively impact site costs (Raw Materials and Indirect). Define and execute sustainable continuous improvement (CIP), value engineering, and dual-sourcing projects for the site in collaboration with key site stakeholders. Accountable for delivering cost-reduction initiatives across the sites' spend.

Supplier Performance & Relationship Management

Own site-specific supplier KPIs and performance reviews; drive corrective actions where needed. Maintain ownership of site-specific supplier relationship management and day-to-day supplier engagement. Ensure site-required local contracts are executed and completed, or escalated to category when they must be handled globally.

Supply Continuity & Risk Management

In collaboration with Supply Chain, support reliable and timely availability of materials for the sites. Support resolution of major supplier quality issues, including issues identified through audits. Ensure new suppliers are qualified in line with internal Change Control procedures. Maintain overall accountability for supplier service performance supporting site operations.
