Job summary

Amgen Dun Laoghaire (ADL) seeks a PMO & Master Planning Specialist to govern the site engineering and facilities project portfolio. You will oversee capital planning, project prioritisation, initiation and execution, aligning site strategy with regulatory expectations and resource capacity.

You will implement PMO policies, leverage global tools, and represent ADL in global PMO networks while driving site master planning and portfolio governance for continued growth and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years’ directly related experience in engineering, facilities, or capital project environments.
• At least 5 years’ leadership experience directing teams, programs, portfolios, or resource allocation.
• Formal project management qualification (PMP, IPMA, or PRINCE2 Practitioner) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP environments and experience supporting a 24‑hour manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

• Owns the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) PMO process to govern the site project portfolio.
• Develops and sustains PMO policies, standards, and procedures for effective project oversight.
• Leverages Amgen global tools and best practices and shares ADL learnings globally.
• Represents ADL in corporate portfolio and project management forums and engages with the global PMO network.
• Leads Site Master Plan governance and multi-year strategic capital planning.
• Provides data-driven portfolio analysis and scenario planning for capital investments.
• Maintains central repository for approved site projects and governance docs.
• Communicates portfolio roadmaps, risks, and impacts to senior management and stakeholders.
• Facilitates resource loading and capacity analysis for project demand balancing.
• Drives improvements to governance processes and tracks KPIs for portfolio performance.
• Fosters accountability, transparency, and delivery excellence across site project teams.
