Job summary

GPC - Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Site Manager to join a leading Main Contractor in Galway. You will coordinate and supervise residential projects on sites in Tuam or Portumna, using Procore to maintain diaries and subcontractor records, while managing timelines and ensuring quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have site supervision experience with a trades background, ability to read drawings, and knowledge of Irish building regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience supervising site with trades background and completing works to deadlines.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
  • Knowledge of building regulations and certification standards.
  • Experience as finishing foreman on commercial/residential sites.
  • Strong Health & Safety understanding on Irish construction sites.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise all site construction activities for timely delivery.
  • Maintain a detailed site diary using Procore and track subcontractors.
  • Manage project timelines and schedules to keep progress on track.
  • Oversee plastering through final completion and snag list.
  • Lead site staff and subcontractors, ensuring quality and compliance.
