Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Site Foreman to lead a large residential development in Barna, Co. Galway. You will oversee day-to-day on-site operations, manage trades, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery on a high-profile project.

You will coordinate planning, sequencing, reporting, and stakeholder communications, driving continuous improvement and efficient resource use to meet project goals and energy-efficient design standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ foreman experience on large residential projects.
• Recognised qualification or strong trade background in Construction or related field.
• Proven track record of delivering projects within agreed timelines and specifications.
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and Irish industry standards.
• Experience managing subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and site activities.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Uphold health and safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Coordinate construction planning, sequencing, stakeholder communication, and project reporting.
