Job summary

BSS Building Staff Solutions Limited is seeking a Site Engineer for Dublin city centre and Northside projects. You will set out and survey works from substructure through to completion on residential schemes, ensure procedures are followed, and support the site team.

The role requires a civil or structural engineering degree, site engineer experience on residential projects, proficiency with total station, GPS and AutoCAD, and valid Safe Pass.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering or equivalent.
• Site Engineer experience on residential or apartment projects.
• Confident setting out with total station and GPS.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Valid Safe Pass and site certifications.

Responsibilities

• Set out and survey works, from substructure through to completion.
• Carry out quality inspections and keep site records up to date.
• Check works on site against drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors and resolve technical queries with the design team.
• Raise and track RFIs.
• Support the Site Manager on programme, health and safety, and quality.
• Help prepare BCAR and handover documentation.

Our client is a residential developer delivering apartment schemes across Dublin city centre and the Northside, with further developments in the pipeline. They are building out their site teams and recruiting Site Engineers for current and upcoming projects.

Responsibilities

• Set out and survey works, from substructure through to completion

• Check works on site against drawings and specifications
