Job summary

Irish Building Main Contractor in Kilkenny, Ireland is seeking a Site Engineer for a multi-million residential development. You will set out works, check quality, and coordinate with the Site Manager and subcontractors to ensure safety and high standards.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 2–5 years of site experience, with strong Total Station and GPS setting-out skills. DOE salary is €55,000–€65,000 plus a vehicle allowance and pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of Site Engineer experience in Ireland.
• Proven setting-out experience using Total Station and GPS.
• Experience on residential or building projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate setting out for residential units, roads and utilities.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and technical information; resolve issues.
• Carry out QA checks and maintain site records to required standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site activities with the Site Manager.
