Job summary

INFORM3 are recruiting a Site Engineer to join a leading building contractor on a large-scale school development in Drogheda. You will set out and oversee engineering activities to ensure works meet drawings, specifications and programme requirements.

The successful candidate will work with an experienced site management and engineering team, gaining exposure to a major commercial project and long-term career progression. A competitive salary and benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Experience as a Site Engineer with a main contractor on commercial or large-scale projects.
• Strong setting-out experience using Total Station and GPS equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Good knowledge of construction methods and sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all setting-out activities across the project.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Ensure works are completed accurately and in line with design requirements.
• Monitor progress and assist with programme delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site personnel.
• Carry out quality checks and site inspections.
• Manage RFIs and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate site records and as-built drawings.
• Liaise with Site Manager and project engineers.
• Ensure all works comply with health and safety requirements.

Job Description

INFORM3 are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading building contractor on a large-scale school development in Drogheda.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor working on a major commercial project, offering exposure to a high-quality development and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced site management and engineering team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out, overseeing engineering activities and ensuring works are completed accurately and in line with project specifications, drawings and programme requirements.

• Carry out all setting-out activities across the project.
