Overview

Vickerstock are working with a Civil Contractor on the appointment of a Site Engineer for a large remediation project in Baltinglass, Wicklow

About the Project

A remediation project covering waste removal, enabling, drainage, access and conservation of original site features

Your new role as Site Engineer

• Work on concrete, drainage & enabling
• Setting out gridlines and layouts for site, using software such as TotalStation and GPS
• Reviewing and updating programmes of works
• Ensure project runs smoothly and in line with timelines
• Reviewing subcontractors works against quality standards
• Liaising with Project Manager
• Promote health and Safety on site

What you'll need to be successful

• 5 years experience as a Site engineer
• Strong use of Totalstation and GPS
• Degree or Apprenticeship level education in Construction or Civil Engineering
• Experience with relevant documentation such as sign-offs and valuations
• Full Driver's Licence
• Full Right to Work in Ireland
• Ability to travel - you will be based on one site, however occasionally may be asked to work on other locations.
