INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Site Engineer

Project – Residential New Build

Job Location – Cork

Salary – €40K - €60K + package

About the Company

Very busy Main Contractor specialising in design and build residential and commercial projects across the region.

The successful candidate will be working on a new residential development in Cork with an experienced Site Team and long-term working opportunities – fantastic opportunity for someone with setting out experience who wants to move up with a reputable company.

They require an energetic engineer who has 2+ years’ experience working as an engineer in the Irish Construction Industry setting out for building projects.

The Role

  • Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
  • Performing checks on the quality of works completed to ensure works are done to a high standard.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning of daily tasks for the project.
  • Supervise trades on site and act as a point of contact for subbies, architect and client.
  • Ensure H&S standards are met and adhered to on site.
  • Support the Project Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.

Requirements

  • A Degree in Construction Management & Engineering, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2+ Experience with a Main Contractor in ROI
  • Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
