Job summary

Keyman Personnel, part of the KTS Group, is recruiting for multiple permanent Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer roles in Dublin on behalf of our client. The positions are permanent and offer long-term career prospects in the Dublin construction market.

We seek engineers with strong setting-out and site engineering capabilities, experienced with Total Station and Trimble GPS, and comfortable reading construction drawings. Irish standards knowledge is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer.
• Strong setting-out and surveying capability.
• Experience using Total Station and Trimble GPS equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical information.
• AutoCAD experience and familiarity with QA/QC documentation.

• Carrying out setting out and site engineering activities.

• Checking levels, dimensions and completed works.
• Maintaining accurate engineering records and as-built information.

• Identifying and assisting with the resolution of technical issues on site.
• Supporting the safe and efficient delivery of works.

We are keen to speak with engineers who have a strong background in setting out and site engineering and are looking for a long-term permanent opportunity in the Dublin construction market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out setting out and site engineering activities
• Working accurately from construction drawings and technical information
• Using Total Station, Trimble GPS and associated surveying equipment
• Checking levels, dimensions and completed works
• Maintaining accurate engineering records and as-built information
• Supporting QA/QC inspections and quality documentation
• Coordinating with site management, subcontractors and other project teams
• Identifying and assisting with the resolution of technical issues on site
• Supporting the safe and efficient delivery of works
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with project requirements and quality standards

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer
• Strong setting-out and surveying capability
• Experience using Total Station and Trimble GPS equipment
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical information
• AutoCAD experience
• Good understanding of QA/QC and site documentation
• Experience working with subcontractors and site teams
• Relevant Civil Engineering, Construction or related qualification
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience working on construction projects in the Republic of Ireland is highly desirable, together with a good understanding of Irish construction standards, site practices and regulatory requirements
