AbbVie in Ireland seeks a Site EHS Lead to provide technical and operational EHS leadership across a complex pharmaceutical manufacturing site, translating Site EHS priorities into day-to-day execution and guiding the EHS Engineers.

You will partner with manufacturing, engineering, laboratory and project teams to assess and control health, safety and environmental risk, applying engineering judgement to containment, occupational exposure and capital projects.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a chemical engineering, process engineering or related field; EHS qualification advantageous.
Experience in regulated pharma/biotech manufacturing environments.
Practical understanding of chemical/process hazards and hierarchy of controls; exposure management is advantageous.
Experience supporting manufacturing operations, changes, capital projects or technology transfer.
Demonstrated ability to lead people, coordinate teams and influence stakeholders.

Mansioni

Provide technical and operational EHS guidance to manufacturing, engineering, lab and project teams using risk-based approaches.
Lead the daily operation of the EHS Engineer team, set priorities and coach team members.
Lead or support complex risk assessments involving chemical hazards, containment and exposure.
Provide EHS input to capital projects, design reviews, management of change and commissioning.
Support development of EHS initiatives for the EHS Long Range Plan and governance.
Coordinate incident investigations, audits, corrective actions and EHS programmes.
