Job summary

Jacobs Ireland's Advanced Manufacturing team hires a Process Design Engineer with strong BIM to support large scale facility projects. This site-based role involves design coordination, model development, installation oversight and handover for semiconductor facilities.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, architectural, construction management and tool installation teams, delivering high-purity piping, gas, chemical distribution, and cleanroom processes while upholding safety,

Qualifications

• Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience delivering process systems on large industrial/advanced manufacturing projects.
• Proven capability in BIM tools such as Revit or Navisworks.
• Experience working on site-based major construction programmes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate process design engineering activities for assigned semiconductor project areas.
• Develop, review and maintain BIM models for process systems, ensuring accuracy and clash resolution.
• Support site installation of process systems including high purity piping, chemical distribution, gas systems, waste systems and tool hook ups.
• Conduct field inspections, verify installation quality and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, architectural, construction management and tool installation teams.
• Ensure adherence to cleanroom, contamination control and high tech manufacturing requirements.
• Review technical submittals, method statements and contractor proposals.
• Support commissioning and start up activities, including testing, flushing, verification and documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records, model updates and as-built information.
• Champion safety, quality and continuous improvement across all site activities.
