Production Equipment Europe is a leading distributor supplying over 90,000 products to a wide portfolio of customers. They are seeking a Sign Making Operative to join their Signs Team and contribute to high-quality sign production in a bustling workshop.

The role involves operating wide format printers, vinyl cutters, digital cutters and laminators, creating decals, and applying graphics on various materials while maintaining tidy workshop conditions and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing and assembly operation.
• Basic IT skills in Excel and Outlook.
• Creative and have good attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience in a semi-skilled role.
• Ability to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines.
• Experience with sign making is a distinct advantage.
• Be able to offer input into improving processes and operations.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy workshop and manufacturing environment.
• Produce high quality finished products to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Regular operation of equipment including wide format printers, vinyl cutters, digital cutter and laminators.
• Create and apply vinyl decals and print graphics on various materials.
• Input into efficient and effective operations of the Signs department.
• Ensure workshop is kept clean and tidy.
