Job summary

Sign Solutions in Arklow, Co. Wicklow, is seeking a Junior Sign Maker for our busy fabrication facility. This hands-on role focuses on sign making, fabrication, assembly and preparation, with occasional on-site installation support.

The ideal candidate has strong practical skills, can read measurements and drawings, and is keen to learn all aspects of sign manufacture in a supportive, safety‑conscious team environment. A full driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong practical and hands-on ability.
• Confidence using hand and power tools.
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to follow measurements, drawings and instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the manufacture, assembly and preparation of a wide range of signage.
• Working with different signage materials and components.
• Using hand and power tools safely and confidently.
• Working from measurements, drawings and job specifications.
• Preparing and finishing signage to a high standard prior to installation.
• Occasionally travelling with the installation team to assist with signage fitting on client sites.
