Job description

WRIGHT QUARRY PRODUCTS LTD. is seeking a Shuttering Carpenter to join their Manufacturing Team in Swann’s Cross, Co Monaghan. The successful candidate will work in a busy environment, working with concrete & shuttering formwork as well as assisting and helping other construction trades required to deliver turnkey homes and buildings.

The role will involve setting up and dismantling shuttering formwork for wall panels, installing the necessary insulation and service runs within the walls, and pouring the concrete. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently and effectively, and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in shuttering formwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading detailed formwork drawings
• Setting up and dismantling formwork
• Pouring concrete
• Signing off on all required checklists
• Liaising with the production managers and the design team with technical queries
• Working closely alongside our production team to make sure critical dates are met

Preferred Qualifications:

• Qualified Carpenter with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in shuttering formwork
• Ability to manage efficiently and work under own supervision
• Enthusiastic and responsive approach
• Full, clean driver’s licence
• Manual Handling Certificate / Safe Pass
• Valid Visa to work in the EU

Working Conditions:

Factory Environment, physical role requiring lifting, standing, and operating equipment. Monday to Friday with occasional overtime or weekend work based on production needs.
