Job summary

Enva is seeking a SHEQ Advisor to support the SHEQ Manager in developing and implementing effective HSE plans for ENVA NI non-hazardous waste depots. The role requires close collaboration across departments to maintain regulatory and ISO readiness and drive best practices for a safe workplace.

This permanent, full-time position is based in Carryduff (NI) with regular travel to depots. You will lead audits, risk assessments, and training, while reporting KPI data to the SHEQ Manager and

Qualifications

• The candidate holds NEBOSH General Certificate and can complete it within their first year.
• Experience in risk assessments and procedural documentation is essential.
• Proven ability to investigate incidents and analyse root causes.
• Strong knowledge of relevant HSE legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience delivering training to personnel at all levels.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills; highly organized and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SHEQ Manager to implement HSE plans and ISO standards.
• Attend weekly non-hazardous waste SHEQ huddles and track actions.
• Visit depots regularly to check compliance on fire, first aid, risk assessments, and PTW.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and manage documentation filings.
• Prepare and action audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Monitor KPIs and report weekly to the SHEQ Manager.
