Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties will include: Providing assistance to residents who live independently in a Sheltered Housing Village, interacting with residents and assisting them as per job description, these duties will include going shopping with them once a week via bus to local shops, banks, post offices. Maintaining residents meeting centre and setting up activity room for various activities and cleaning up thereafter. Assisting with collecting their weekly washing and ensuring same is done.
