Job description

We are recruiting experienced Setting Out Engineers for our expanding Client based in the Dublin area.

Responsibilities:

• Planning work and efficiently organising site facilities to meet agreed timelines
• Working with site plans, drawings and building information models.
• Mapping structural boundaries on the ground using pegs and markers
• Surveying a construction site
• Check ground levels and excavation levels
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
• Monitoring and Interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client/ architect
• Liaising with consultants/ subcontractors/ supervisors/ planners/ quantity surveyors etc
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
• Setting out, levelling and surveying the site
• Overseeing Quality Control and the implementation of the company H&S policy on site
• Preparing reports as required

The right Candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• Knowledge of buildings and construction processes
• Relevant Degree
• Strong written communication abilities and an attention to detail
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office; Project and PowerPoint
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Full EU Driving Licence - Essential
