Profile

An exciting opportunity for a Service Sales Manager in Ireland. This role is ideal for someone with proven business development experience within the operations and maintenance industry or similar and a passion for driving service demand creation in the service sector.

As Service Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful development and implementation of the service sales strategy for your assigned area, profitably achieving qualitative and quantitative targets for life cycle management, service products, and solutions. You will analyse service market potential, with a full focus on growth and revenue within the energy sector and build strong customer relationships.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Identify the key business drivers of the customer's business and business environment and interpret the impact and opportunity our organisation.
  • Develop sales strategies for the accounts by understanding and supporting the development of the customer's business and long-term plans.
  • Analyse installed base and identify sales opportunities whilst supporting customers operation and maintenance plans and extending the life cycle of products.
  • Understand opportunities for developing the circular economy and upgrades as well as digitalisation and data management.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the account plans to include designing the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, prioritizing the opportunities, identifying a target for each Business Unit/Product Group, revenue, and growth for the account and long terms relationship with the customer.
  • Identify the key business drivers of the customer's business and business environment and interpret the impact and opportunity.
Ideal Background
  • Demonstrable experience of managing customer relationships and a proven track record of developing accounts to increase lifetime value.
  • Proven record of driving business development strategies to achieve business growth.
  • Extensive experience in leading and/or delivering complex solution-based opportunities.
  • Excellent customer and stakeholder management skills, up to C-level.
  • Well-developed problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person.
  • HND or degree at BSc/MSc level and or equivalent experience
  • Sales experience, preferably negotiating and managing large value orders within a technical environment.
  • Awareness of the commercial impact of technical decisions.
