Job summary

Turner & Townsend Ireland is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of water infrastructure projects across Ireland. You will manage design, procurement, construction delivery and budgets, coordinating with clients and stakeholders to deliver on time and within scope.

Ideal candidates hold a recognised professional qualification in Project Management or Engineering, NEC PM accreditation, and at least 10 years’ experience including water utility contracts.

Qualifications

• Holds a professional qualification awarded by a recognised chartered institute or association, in a discipline directly related to Project Management/Engineering.
• Ideally holds NEC PM accreditation.
• Minimum 10 years experience, with at least 5 years in a water utility environment.
• Proven track record delivering water utility capital contracts.
• Experience administering NEC/FIDIC Contracts; management of large project portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a diverse portfolio of water infrastructure projects, progressing design, procurement, construction delivery and budget management.
• Identify and manage internal and external stakeholders with regular, timely communications.
• Collaborate with utility companies and execute connection agreements and water contracts; engage with internal/external legal counsel as required.
• Review and process payment applications from Delivery Partners and utility companies.
• Lead project governance, approvals and risk management; ensure adherence to client governance at all stages.
• Demonstrate ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; drive delivery of large infra projects and programmes.
