Job summary

Elevate Partners is assisting a major Irish organisation in appointing a Treasury & Group Trading Risk Manager to lead liquidity, treasury risk and trading risk management within Group Treasury. The role develops and enforces risk policies across FX, rates, inflation and cash investments and supports senior stakeholders on major investments.

The successful candidate will have Chartered Accountant and/or CFA credentials with 10+ years of post-qualification experience and a strong track record in

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant and/or CFA with 10+ years’ post-qualified experience.
• Strong Treasury or Banking experience with a financial risk management focus.
• Excellent understanding of liquidity, FX, interest rate and financial risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of Treasury Risk Management policies across FX, interest rate, inflation and cash investment risk.
• Manage group liquidity, cash investment, trade finance and banking relationships.
• Identify and manage FX, interest rate and inflation exposures, including the execution of appropriate hedging strategies.
• Provide treasury and financial risk advice to senior stakeholders on major investment projects.
• Oversee energy trading risk exposure and support the continued development of the Group Trading Risk Management Framework.
• Drive improvements across treasury technology, governance and reporting.
• Contribute to the wider strategic direction of the Treasury function.
