Job summary

Stryker Macroom is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for an onsite, permanent role with an evening shift. You will maintain production equipment and ensure compliance with health & safety and quality systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, CMMS recordkeeping, break down analysis, and supporting lean problem solving while upholding cGMP site standards. Strong engineering background and 3+ years in a similar role are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Desirable engineering degree (Level 7/8).
• CNC experience with Mazak/DMG is advantageous.
• Effective communication and ability to interact with all levels of the organisation.
• Industrial services experience is beneficial.

What you will do:

• Build compliance into all aspects of their work by maintaining conformity to all Health & Safety and Quality System requirements.

• Maintenance activities on our production equipment, electrical, pneumatic, PLCs, BMS, HVAC, Access Controls.

• Troubleshoot problems as they arise.

• Use the CMMS system to record scheduled and unscheduled maintenance Perform Break Down Analysis (BDA) on faulty equipment and record in the CMMS Support the Daily Management system and using lean tools for problem solving and continuous improvement.

• Maintain site standards on cGMP.

What you will need:

• Level 7/8 Degree in Engineering is desirable.
• CNC experience is an advantage (Mazak/DMG)
• Technical skills: Effective communication skills and Interaction with other people at all levels of the organisation will be critical to this position.
• Industrial services related experience is a distinct advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a large company or with a related service provider to industry

Ireland Pay Ranges:

• Ireland : €38,000 - €64,000 EUR Annual
