Role: Senior Technical Advisor

Location: Office in Dublin 24 – 3 days in Office, 2 days at home

Job Type: Permanent - Full time

Salary: €47,000 - €52,000 depending on experience

We are looking for a driven Senior Technical Advisor to join our client’s growing team based in Dublin 24. The purpose of the Senior Technical Advisor is to provide technical support and expertise in the areas of Building Physics, Fire, Acoustics and Energy Efficiency.

Your new role includes:

• Handling of Technical Sales to internal and external customers, including active promotion of full product ranges, by telephone, e-mail, fax and post, on a daily basis.
• Consulting with Gyproc/Isover Technical sales & specification teams
• Consulting in the formation of design solution work, for specific projects.
• Proficient utilisation of industry tools, including but not limited to BIM, Cad, U-value calculator, Thermal modelling and WUFI/Hygrothermal analysis software to generate project relevant information for specifiers and customers.
• Professionally developing and maintaining a working knowledge of Safety, Building Regulations & other directives, regulations and standards which apply to the business.
• Periodic site visits - sales and specification representatives to customer sites and experience how best to meet the customer’s requirements.
• Developing an internal and external network that enables you to share and receive best practice within the industry.

Experience you need:

• Relevant construction professional qualification
• Strong ICT skills (particularly Microsoft Office)
• AutoCAD
• Revit experience desirable.
• Minimum 5 years technical support experience in business to business (b2b) sector.
• Demonstrable strong technical experience within the construction industry.
