Job summary

Accenture Ireland is seeking a Technical Architect to own end-to-end solution architecture across cloud, AI and enterprise platforms, translating business strategy into pragmatic designs that teams can deliver.

This role carries accountability for architecture quality, alignment across engineering and delivery, and the development of junior architects, working with Accenture's global network and client relationships to solve meaningful problems.

Qualifications

• Deep commercial experience in technical or solution architecture, with end-to-end ownership on complex programmes.
• Proven ability to lead architecture across modern engineering solutions with cloud expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience presenting to senior audiences and guiding client decisions.
• Mentoring and developing senior engineers and technical leads.
• Familiar with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF) and modern delivery practices (DevOps/SAFe).

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture ownership for enterprise-scale programmes from target-state through delivery.
• Define trade-offs and decisions (build/buy/reuse) with clear risks and dependencies.
• Lead architecture reviews and governance across all workstreams.
• Produce and maintain architecture blueprints, ADRs and reference architectures.
• Mentor technical leads and contribute to practice development.
