Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Dublin is seeking a Senior Structural Technician to support our structural team on concept and detailed design across education, healthcare, commercial, housing and life science projects. You will deliver BIM/CAD outputs using Revit, AutoCAD and CADS RC within a BIM/CDE environment, coordinating with internal teams and external clients.

• Experience in preparation of structural drawings / models.
• Working within a BIM environment with CDE knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Structural Technician with BIM / Revit & AutoCAD and skills, with proven experience in the successful delivery of Structural Project BIM/CAD outputs required immediately to work as a team member in our Dublin office.

Your role

Assisting Structural Team on concept design development and detailed design for a range of projects including education, healthcare, commercial office, housing, life science & leisure projects.

About you

• Good knowledge of Structural engineering and proficiency in BIM / Revit & AutoCAD and CADS RC required.
• Experience in preparation of structural engineering drawings / models.
• Working within a BIM environment, CDE knowledge essential.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Mentoring of junior staff.
• Coordination with internal multi-disciplinary projects teams.
• Liaising with external clients and design teams.
• Flexible approach with ability to be able to multi-task and prioritise when necessary.
• Positive outlook and approachable manner.
• Must be a proactive and motivated self-starter.
• Capable of working on their own or as part of team.
