Job summary

Zinkworks in Athlone, Ireland, is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the design of the Agentic Platform hosting AI agents on Google Cloud. You will define architecture, security standards, and microservices patterns that underpin this transformation for a major UK telecoms client.

• 5+ years operating as a Senior/Lead Solution Architect.
• Deep expertise in architecting on GCP (Cloud Run, GKE, Apigee, IAM).
• Proven experience designing platforms integrating Vector Databases, LLMs, and Big Data pipelines.
• Mastery of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Deep domain expertise across RAN, Core, OSS/BSS, and network automation.
• Demonstrated capability designing large-scale, distributed telecom systems.

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a major UK Telecommunications provider to deliver their flagship \"Agentic AI\" transformation program. Operating from our Innovation Hub in Athlone, we are building a \"CTO 2.0\" ecosystem moving our client from legacy, manual workflows to an intelligent, automated operating model powered by Autonomous AI Agents.

We need a Senior Architect to lead the design of the core platform that will host and orchestrate AI agents across the enterprise, defining the architecture, security standards, and microservices patterns that underpin this transformation.

Key Responsibilities
