Job summary

Hunter Philips Executive Search is sourcing a Project Manager for a major 100MW+ utility-scale Solar PV project in the Midlands Region, Ireland. Freelance / daily rate engagement with start mid-November 2026, initial 14–16 months with potential extension.

You will lead construction planning, coordinate interfaces and drive delivery through early construction and commissioning. To succeed, demonstrate proven Solar PV project delivery experience, civil and electrical understanding, strong

Qualifications

• Proven PM experience delivering Solar PV projects (100MW+), ideally within an EPC contractor.
• Understanding of the solar PV construction lifecycle: civil works, mounting, electrical, commissioning.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving; ownership of delivery.
• Experience in Ireland or UK renewables is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site execution: organization, planning, milestones and productivity.
• Ensure QHSE performance and regulatory compliance on site.
• Coordinate technical, logistical and contractual interfaces; risk analysis and contract management.
• Represent the project on site with stakeholders and provide regular reporting.
