Demonware, a part of Activision Blizzard, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Database team in Dublin, Ireland. This onsite role focuses on building and evolving our database tooling to support thousands of nodes and self-service deployments using Redis, Kubernetes and Vitess.
You will work with multiple internal teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and high-performance services for our games.

Job Description: Are you passionate about crafting reliable and scalable online services and features, that are used by millions of players all around the world? Do you love engineering, online/multiplayer technology, games, and working with other senior technical staff? Demonware is looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Database team, and we’d love to hear from you! This role is based in our Dublin, Ireland office and follows an onsite work schedule of four days per week. Work arrangements may change at the company's discretion to meet business needs.
You would be joining our Database team, who are responsible for our database platform. Demonware has thousands of database nodes, and we deal with the difficult challenge of making database management easier for our colleagues across the studio. We provide our technology to other internal teams in a self-service model to configure and deploy for their services & game titles. You would be helping to evolve this model as we make more use of cloud technologies and help minimize our customers' operational overhead. You would be working with technologies such as Redis, Kubernetes, and Vitess (MySQL).
