Job summary

Astreya Consultancy Ireland Ltd seeks a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain customized applications using low-code Power Platform and traditional coding in Python/SQL. You will lead design discussions with the Solutions Architect and guide code reviews to ensure quality and security.

Responsibilities include building interfaces, dashboards, and integrations, while mentoring junior developers and driving best practices across AGILE teams in a global IT services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5–8 years' related experience
• Strong familiarity with relational databases and SQL
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps/Power Automate/Power BI)
• Proficient in Python and Git; comfortable with AI-assisted coding tools

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Solutions Architect and other developers to gather requirements
• Design specifications and translate them into code using low-code and custom coding
• Develop in Power Apps/Power Automate and Python/SQL
• Lead peer code reviews and ensure code quality and security standards
• Create tests and run unit/integration/UAT testing to validate functionality
• Document changes, source control practices, and environment configurations
• Mentor junior developers and train end users on new solutions
