Job summary

Realtime Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with a strong background in Core Java, Spring frameworks, and Exigen Insurance Solutions (EIS) platforms. You will be a key technical contributor, leading the development and customization of core insurance modules on the EIS platform, bridging Java engineering with COTS insurance products to deliver high-performing, scalable solutions.

The role requires 5–8 years IT experience in Java and insurance, plus 3–4 years with EIS

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of IT experience with a focus on Java and the Insurance Domain.
• 3–4 years hands-on development experience with Exigen EIS products.
• Experience with Exigen Product Engagements and large-scale transformation programs.
• Direct experience with EIS Version 10+ features.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure EIS products and components per architectural guidelines.
• Work across Billing Core, Claim Core, Policy Core, Product Factory, and EIS Rating modules.
• Apply advanced framework features and manage EIS Rule Engine, Batch Framework, and Workflow generation.
• Lead EIS branching strategies and Claims workflow customization.
• Develop secure, high-performance web services and microservices to integrate EIS with external systems.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure code quality and adherence to industry best practices.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with a strong background in Core Java, Spring frameworks, and Exigen Insurance Solutions (EIS) platforms. In this role, you will be a key technical contributor, leading the development and customization of core insurance modules (Policy, Billing, and Claims) on the EIS platform. You will bridge the gap between robust Java engineering and complex commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) insurance products to deliver high-performing, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• EIS Customisation & Development: Design, develop, and configure various EIS products and components, ensuring alignment with architectural guidelines.
• Core Insurance Engineering: Work extensively across critical EIS modules including Billing Core, Claim Core, Policy Core, Product Factory, and EIS Rating.
• Advanced Framework Implementation: Utilize EIS Version 10+ specific features, managing the EIS Rule Engine, EIS Batch Framework, and EIS Workflow Task Generation.
• Branching & Workflow Management: Implement efficient EIS Branching Strategies and lead complex Claims Workflow Customization.
• Integration & Microservices: Develop and maintain secure, high-performance web services and microservices to integrate EIS with external systems.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise during EIS product engagements, ensuring code quality, optimization, and adherence to insurance industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Overall IT Experience: 5 to 8 years of professional experience in IT, specifically focused on Java, Spring frameworks, and the Insurance Domain.
• EIS Expertise: 3 to 4 years of hands‑on development experience across various EIS Products, featuring in-depth technical knowledge of Exigen products or highly related COTS insurance technologies.
• Project History: Proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in prior Exigen Product Engagements and large-scale transformation programs.
• Version Specifics: Direct experience working with EIS Version 10 and above.
• Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and Microservices architecture.
