Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Network Capacity Services to design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions for network capacity planning and optimization across AWS's global network.

You will work with cross-functional teams to forecast infrastructure needs, mentor teammates, and drive architectural improvements while participating in on-call rotations to ensure production systems' reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring or leading an engineering team (non-internship).
• Led architecture and design focusing on reliability and scalability.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or C#, with object-oriented design.
• Experience coding in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable solutions for network capacity management.
• Create and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
