Job summary

RGH-Global Limited, on behalf of a long-established disability services provider in Galway, invites applications for a Principal Social Worker. This permanent, full-time post (35 hours/week) leads the social work team, oversees safeguarding, and shapes policy and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Essential requirements include CORU registration and a recognised Social Work qualification, plus a postgraduate Leadership/Management credential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years post-qualification experience as a social worker.
• Experience with safeguarding and complex cases.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the social work team.
• Oversee safeguarding, policy development and regulatory compliance.
• Represent the organisation in external forums.
