Oliver James Group is seeking a security engineering professional to lead the engineering, integration and ongoing enhancement of cyber defence platforms in Dublin City Centre on a 6-month rolling contract. The role covers Microsoft Sentinel, Defender/XDR, ServiceNow security integrations and related Azure services.

Descripción del empleo

6-month rolling contract, Hybrid 2-3 days, Dublin City Centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering, integration, operation and ongoing enhancement of cyber defence platforms, including Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender/XDR, ServiceNow security integrations and related Azure services.
• Design, develop and maintain secure DevOps and CI/CD capabilities, covering Azure DevOps pipelines, infrastructure as code, Terraform, source control, automated testing, deployment governance, security scanning, approval gates, release management and secure software development lifecycle practices.
• Develop and maintain Microsoft Sentinel content and services, including telemetry onboarding, detection engineering, automation, reporting, retention management and platform monitoring.
• Automate operational workflows, approval processes, compliance evidence gathering and reporting, ensuring all platform changes comply with security policies, governance standards, testing requirements and audit controls.
