Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Site Engineer for a leading building contractor in Dublin. You will set out and survey on site, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure works meet drawings and specifications on landmark projects.

The role emphasizes safe, efficient delivery, quality, and clear collaboration with the Site Manager and project team, with potential career progression within a growing organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience as Site Engineer with a main contractor or developer is preferred.
• Strong technical and setting-out skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a project team.
• Knowledge of Irish construction standards and regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works on site.
• Coordinating subcontractors and site activities.
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Monitoring quality control and maintaining project documentation.
• Assisting with programme management and progress reporting.
• Supporting the implementation of health and safety procedures.
• Liaising with design teams, consultants, and project stakeholders.
