Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Site/Construction Manager with 7+ years of experience for large-scale fit-out projects on a major commercial development in Ireland. You will oversee planning, coordination with clients and subcontractors, and ensure every phase meets safety, quality and schedule targets.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting and risk management skills, proficiency with MS Project or Procore, and a proven track record across residential, commercial or industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Site Manager in a main contractor / fit-out environment.
• Proven track record managing large-scale, complex construction projects across sectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, cost management and risk mitigation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of construction projects from a fit-out perspective on large-scale commercial developments.
• Develop and manage project schedules to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Lead and motivate project teams including subcontractors and internal staff.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders to maintain alignment and communication.
• Ensure health & safety, quality standards and company policies are followed.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor costs and control expenditure.
• Provide regular progress updates to clients and senior management.
