Package: €65,000–€80,000 per annum (depending on experience) company vehicle, full setting-out equipment

Duration: Immediate start on Phase 2; 5-year project pipeline

Job Summary

As a Senior Site Engineer, you won’t just handle setting-out—you’ll be the right-hand to the Site Manager, overseeing level control, foundations, drainage, and site stabilisation. Your leadership will ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence across all phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily setting-out for bulk earthworks, foundations, and drainage platforms
• Assist the Site Manager with site planning, resource allocation, and project coordination
• Oversee minor and deep drainage works in liaison with Irish Water and subcontractors
• Produce as-built records, material take-off calculations, and comprehensive progress reports
• Implement and enforce quality control checks and health & safety standards
• Coordinate deliveries, monitor plant and labour utilisation, and resolve technical queries

Essential Skills & Competencies

• Significant setting-out and survey experience on residential or civil works
• Proven track record in foundations and drainage installation
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
• Organised, proactive, and adept at problem-solving under pressure
• Full clean driving licence and proficiency with standard setting-out equipment
