Job summary

Archer Recruitment is seeking a Lead Security Architect to shape security strategy across cloud, identity, network, data and applications. You will maintain architecture standards and drive secure-by-design principles in large-scale transformation programs.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure security is embedded from inception through delivery, working hands-on on architecture decisions and reference designs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Security Architect in large enterprise environments.
• Strong AWS cloud security expertise and secure-by-design mindset.
• Designing and reviewing security architectures across cloud, identity, network and data domains.
• Solid understanding of Zero Trust, threat modelling and Secure-by-Design principles.
• Experience producing security designs, reference architectures and architecture documentation (HLDs/LLDs).
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO27001.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide security architecture for transformation programs.
• Define and maintain security standards, patterns, reference architectures and design principles.
• Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments and security design reviews.
• Drive Secure-by-Design practices across cloud and application delivery teams.
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure and architecture teams to embed security requirements from inception.
• Provide architectural guidance across cloud, identity, network, data and platform security domains.
• Support security tooling strategy, vendor evaluations and technology roadmaps.
• Influence senior stakeholders and provide expert security guidance across the organization.
