Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a SAP Technical Lead in Dublin to own end-to-end SAP operations, drive critical transformation programs, and ensure production reliability across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes. You will coordinate with SI partners, hyperscalers, and internal teams to manage incidents and drive continual service improvement.

The role requires 12+ years of SAP experience, hands-on RISE with SAP knowledge, and strong leadership in crisis situations.

Qualifications

12+ years of SAP technical experience across Basis, ABAP, integrations, and SAP operations.
Proven leadership in production operations and critical outage management.
Hands-on experience with RISE with SAP (Private Cloud preferred).
Experience working with System Integrators in build and run models.
Deep understanding of SAP incident, problem, change, and release processes.

Responsibilities

Own SAP technical operations across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes, including ABAP, Basis, integrations, and middleware.
Ensure 24x7 production stability, performance, availability, and SLAs/OLAs.
Lead proactive monitoring, problem management, and root cause analysis.
Drive operational excellence across transports, upgrades, patching, and housekeeping.
Act as technical owner for RISE environments and governance with SAP Cloud ALM/Solution Manager.
Coordinate with SI, hyperscalers, and internal teams during incidents and maintenance.
Lead war rooms and post-incident reviews, and drive action plans.
