Dornan Engineering is recruiting a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) / Electrical COHE Lead to join the Athlone project team. You will lead the COHE activities on a pharmaceutical project, coordinating with CMT and client representatives to ensure safe energisation and compliance across MV/LV systems.

You will work within a fast-paced environment focused on safety and quality, reporting progress and ensuring all COHE requirements are met for successful commissioning and energisation activities.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification with at least 4 years of experience on switchgear or testing of distribution systems or COHE leadership.
• Experienced managing COHE systems.
• Knowledge of LV and MV regulations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee Electrical COHE process on behalf of CMT.
• Report to CMT Electrical Package Manager on COHE LOTO and energisation activities.
• Review and approve MV & LV energisation requests.
• Coordinate safe isolation of electrical systems to prevent energisation.
• Audit safety protocols and energy-related activities for compliance.
• Work closely with electrical contractor, commissioning teams and client reps.
• Review/witness testing and verify absence of voltage in systems.
