Overview

Divisional Sales Manager - Food Science Ref: 2076 - Location: Leinster, flexible - home office supported.

The Company

Client are a leading global manufacturer of specialist Hydraulic Systems, supplying the global OEM off-road automotive manufacturing sector. Customers include some of the biggest brands in construction machinery, material handling, agricultural equipment & many other industrial application manufacturers.

With a presence across Europe & the US, their research & design team deploy best-in-class precision engineering technology to develop, manufacture & test bespoke systems to customers specifications at scale. They wish to appoint a Sales Engineer to manage key OEM accounts in Europe.

The Role

Will be responsible for managing technically complex sales processes into the European off-road Automotive OEM markets. This will involve touch into all aspects of the customers engagement from initial enquiry, coordination between the client & the design & manufacturing teams. Through to costing, close & and ongoing support. The day to day will involve working on a diverse range of sales opportunities & product applications. Role will also involve travel to customer sites in Northern Europe, however not excessively - perhaps one week per month.

Qualifications

Keen to speak to motivated individuals with a related mechanical engineering background, either currently involved in an OEM or similar sales environment. Or perhaps employed in an engineering role and looking to pivot towards something more commercial.
