AIB in Ireland is seeking a Risk Assurance Review Manager to lead assurance reviews within Risk Assurance & Validation. The role drives independent assessment of risk management, controls and governance across material risk areas.

You will engage senior stakeholders, mentor a high-performing team and help shape continuous improvement while managing complex assurance activities in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience leading or delivering audit, assurance, compliance or risk assignments.
• Qualified in accounting or audit (ACA/ACCA/CPA/IIA).
• Strong knowledge of banking risk and control frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, execution and reporting of risk-based assurance reviews across material risk areas.
• Define review scope, risk-based testing strategies and delivery plans.
• Apply sound assurance and audit judgement and testing techniques.
• Evaluate processes, controls and governance to identify weaknesses and practical improvements.
• Engage with senior management and stakeholders to secure agreement on findings and recommendations.
• Oversee remediation of review findings and ensure timely delivery of outputs.
