Cadence Design Systems is seeking a Senior Reporting and Project Analyst in Dublin to lead reporting and analytics initiatives. You will automate reports, build dashboards, and analyze AR trends, aging, and cash forecasts to drive data-driven decisions across finance and collections.
The role emphasizes project management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with SAP/ERP systems. A strong Excel and BI background, plus experience with enterprise tools, is essential.

Senior Reporting and Project Analyst
Location: The role is based in the Dublin office.
Reports to: Sr Manager, Credit & Collections.
This role combines reporting, business analytics, process improvement, and project management responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Several years of experience in reporting, business analysis, financial analysis, project management, or process improvement.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Experience supporting Finance, Credit & Collections, Treasury, Accounts Receivable, or other operational functions.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized and self-motivated.
Strong project ownership mindset & continuous improvement mentality.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.
Reporting & Analytics Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Macros, Power Query, complex formulas, data modelling).
Dashboard and KPI development.
Understanding of KPI design, metrics, and performance measurement.
Data analysis and trend identification.
Forecasting and performance reporting.
Ability to transform large volumes of operational data into actionable management insights.
ERP & Business Systems Experience with SAP, Oracle, HighRadius, Salesforce, or similar enterprise systems.
Knowledge of data extraction, reconciliation, and reporting from ERP environments.
