Department Overview: The mandate of the TD Compliance Department is to manage compliance risk across TD globally to align with the policies established and approved by the TD Board of Directors’ Audit and Risk Committees. It is the Compliance Department’s responsibility, as proactive and trusted advisors to the respective business lines, to drive a consistent, adaptable and effective culture across the organization so that compliance risks are appropriately mitigated. Compliance Department is a second line of defence function with key framework pillars of oversight, monitoring, escalation, advisory, regulatory change and regulatory engagement. The TDGF Compliance Department via the Regulatory Relations Team is responsible for managing all regulatory relationships and for ensuring senior management are made aware of key risks emanating from regulatory engagement.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated relevant experience in the industry with compliance, risk management and regulatory engagement exposure preferred. Strong understanding of European regulators as a significant institution under the Single Supervisory Mechanism including the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI), European Central Bank (ECB), the Single Resolution Board (SRB) and the Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA). Knowledge of wholesale banking, capital markets and EBA prudential regulations. Proven experience of managing large-scale projects, e.g. regulatory exams conducted by global regulators regulatory findings and issues management process Ability to work as a team and independently. Prioritizing to manage tasks efficiently and time. Strong oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of MS product suite and project management tools. Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (ACOI) accreditation preferred. Audit experience a plus. Project Management experience a plus.
