Job summary

Kappture in Galway is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong real-time edge computing, production C++ and computer-vision experience to help develop and scale the BRISK platform. This hands-on role involves working with cameras, GPUs and edge hardware, designing performance-critical software and moving research outputs into reliable production, with hybrid work from the Galway office.

You will contribute across calibration, synchronization, tracking, inference, telemetry and deployment,

Qualifications

• Substantial commercial software development experience in CV/edge computing.
• Strong production C++ experience and system-design skills.
• Experience moving CV or ML models from research to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-throughput computer-vision systems for hospitality environments.
• Develop multi-camera calibration, synchronization and spatial alignment.
• Build and improve multi-object tracking across cameras, space and time.
• Optimize real-time inference and image-processing pipelines for edge hardware.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers on model evaluation in production.
• Translate research outputs into production code with clear maintainability.
• Define measurable accuracy and performance criteria for CV capabilities.
