Job summary

Amey is seeking a Project Director in Dublin to lead complex LUAS rail projects, including renewals and variations, driving safety, governance and delivery excellence across teams in Ireland and the UK.

You will oversee multi-disciplinary delivery, manage budgets and client interfaces, and ensure projects meet safety, time and cost targets while aligning with Amey's values and strategies.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering complex rail projects.
• Experience managing full lifecycle: scope, design, procurement, construction.
• Strong governance, risk and commercial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of renewals, investment and variation projects across the LUAS network, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery to required quality.
• Develop and maintain the forward programme for LUAS renewals and client-led variations.
• Translate contractual and client requirements into clear scopes, delivery strategies and budgets.
• Support business case development, variation proposals and investment submissions.
• Ensure safety assurance, governance, and stakeholder interfaces are integrated across projects.
• Provide accurate progress reporting to senior leadership and client on risks, costs and decisions.
