Job summary

Medica seeks a Clinical Specialist Radiographer (X-ray & DXA) to lead high-quality imaging services at Vhi360 Carrickmines, Dublin. You will oversee X-ray and DXA delivery, ensure regulatory compliance and drive service improvements.

This role expects leadership, CORU registration, and significant post-qualification experience. You will deputise for the Unit Manager, coordinate radiography operations, and participate in audits, education, and development of new imaging pathways across the Dublin

Qualifications

• CORU registration as Radiographer (or evidence of in-progress)
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification radiography experience
• Postgraduate course (e.g., MSc/PgC) relevant to leadership, radiology or safety

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality diagnostic imaging across X-ray and DXA
• Deputise for Unit Manager and act as site radiographer
• Lead student placements and CPD activities
• Support quality governance, audits, and incident reporting
• Develop and implement new imaging pathways and service improvements
• Oversee staffing, rostering and operational coverage across the Dublin network
