Job summary

Cook Medical has an opportunity in Limerick for a Lead Project Manager, Research and Development. You will drive project management for medical device programs from concept through to market launch, coordinating with engineering, regulatory and quality teams to meet milestones and business metrics.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, at least 5 years of PM experience, and strong leadership with experience in ISO/FDA environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Certified in Project management is essential.
• Agile methodology is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in medical device development is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project management of R&D device projects from design to market.
• Coordinate with technical leads to progress projects and milestones.
• Establish and manage routine team meetings and risk registers.
• Drive best-practice project management methodologies and budget control.
• Communicate status to stakeholders and enable cross-functional collaboration.
• Support change initiatives to improve department and company performance.
